Apollo 11 - Astronauts

These are the astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin in their "Apollo Block II/Skylab A7L EVA and Moon suits" in 1/72 from the Dragon "Lunar Landing" kit which I bought.

I added the antenna and the support strap.

Apollo 11 - Lunar Module

The Apollo Lunar Module (LM) was the lander portion of the Apollo spacecraft built for the US Apollo program to carry a crew of two from lunar orbit to the surface and back.

NASA (from Apollo Program Summary Report - April 1975)

I bought Dragon's Apollo 11 LM "Eagle" in 1/72 ("Lunar Landing" kit). A very detailed and good scaled kit. The fineness of the VHF inflight antennas is great. I only added the EVA antenna and details to the rendezvous radar antenna.

Apollo 11 - CSM

The Command/Service Module (CSM) was one of two spacecraft, along with the Lunar Module, used for the NASA Apollo program which landed the first humans on the Moon, Americans Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, on July 20, 1969.

I bought Dragon's Apollo 11 CSM Columbia ("Lunar Landing" kit) in 1/72. Dragon offers very fine and precise scale details on its models. They have also a perfect fit.

In 2375, a crewman was researching the Apollo 11 mission in the USS Enterprise-E's library (right behind Commander Riker).
